Bookings, Payment and Cancellations Policy

Mountain House Holidays and Peak Navigation Courses – Bookings, Payment and Cancellations and privacy Policy for courses and guided walks.

Bookings will only be confirmed once payment has been received.

Once we have confirmed acceptance of your booking we will not cancel the event unless due to coronavirus we have to quarantine.

If you wish to cancel prior to 2 days before the event, we will offer you a refund subject to an administration charge to cover our banking and other costs. This is currently £5. If you cancel giving less than 2 days notice, we will not normally offer a refund. However if you or anyone in your household develops symptoms of coronavirus or you have been in contact with someone with the virus within 14 days of the course, please do not come to the course; in these circumstances we will negotiate another date or a refund.

If you wish to alter your booking to attend another, similar event on our programme we will try and accommodate this if you give us at least 2 days notice. However we will only accept such an amended booking once per original booking.

All our events will start at the time stated in the programme or joining instructions. If you arrive late we may have departed and there will not be a refund or alternative event offered.

We have to point out that there are risks to any mountain or upland activity, and by making a booking with us, you are accepting this and will tell us about any health or other difficulties you may have which could affect your safety.

If you purchase products from Peak Navigation Courses, your name, email address and a transaction history will be kept by us. We may use the contact information to inform you about the status of your booking, and our news updates. This information is never shared with any 3rd party and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
